Quantik Standard Terms and Conditions written on this webpage shall manage your use of our services. Quantik is accessible at Quantik.app

These Terms will be applied fully and affect to your use of any Quantik services. By using our services, you agreed to accept all terms and conditions written in here. This is confirm every time you order a Quantik product by ticking on the box “I agree with the price, terms and conditions”. You must not use Quantik if you disagree with any of these Terms and Conditions.

Minors or people below 18 years old are not allowed to use this Website.

1. Communication

By using Quantik Services, you agree to receive certain communications in connection with the Services.

You consent to receive communications from Quantik in any form; preferably electronic.

Quantik reserves the right to communicate all types of information to the user, including new releases, promotions, offers, as well as customer service information or updates to these terms and conditions.

2. Quantik Platform

Quantik owns all rights to the Quantik products and services, including copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights.

Quantik platform is free to use for any user. It can be accessed and used by using a username and password. The Customer is responsible for managing his account. The Customer is responsible for storing the username and password securely and confidentially to ensure that the username and password is only used by the Customer. Quantik does not commit ourselves to prioritize support on login issues that are related to the account management on the Customer’s side.

Against payment of the agreed fee for a service, the Customer receives a non-exclusive right to use the service in question.

3. Price of services

Quantik services are clearly stated upon ordering of a service. In fact, agreeing with “price, terms and conditions” is a prerequisite for the execution of a service. Prices for each service are displayed before purchase.

The Customer does have the possibility to cancel a service at any stage of progress.

Quantik current services offer a “Price-as-you-go” model, rather, than subscription as a service. Therefore, every service is considered a different agreement.

The Customer must be aware that some services incur costs at the time of agreeing with the terms and services and initiating it, while other services, incur costs at the time when a service is terminated.

All fees, expenses and taxes due hereunder will be paid in U.S. dollars or in local currency (e.g. Norwegian Kroner) with local applicable taxes if that currency are provided in the service. All fees due must be paid in full without any deduction, set-off, counterclaim or withholding of any kind unless required by law.

4. Payment terms

Quantik invoices the Customer on a monthly basis, checking the outstanding balance in the account and sending an invoice to the Customer’s email.

You must pay the amount due in full within seven (7) days after the date of the invoice.

If a charge is rejected, you shall immediately provide a chargeable method or payment account, as appropriate. You must pay the amount due in full within seven (7) days after the date of the invoice. You agree to notify Quantik in writing of any changes in your billing information at least thirty (30) days prior to the immediately subsequent billing date. In the event payment dates fall on a weekend or holiday, you understand that the payments may be executed on the next business day.

Quantik may, without liability to you, disable the password, account and access to all or part of the Services if any fees are not paid within forty-five (45) days after such fees first becoming due and payable under the Terms.

In the event of the foregoing, Quantik shall not be obligated to provide any and/or all of the Services until such fees are paid in full.

5. Refunding

Quantik is committed to deliver the best customer experience to its Customers, and that includes issues with the services provided.

In case of a technical failure from our side, we are glad to offer a refund on any of our services. Please reach out to Quantik helpdesk and we will handle it accordingly.

In case of a 3rd-party failure, we suggest that you try to re-initiate the step or process if available, as something 3rd-party services may be temporarily unavailable. In case of services that you pay upon initiation (e.g. BankID), we are glad to offer a refund on any of our services. Please reach out to Quantik helpdesk and we will handle it accordingly.

6. Reliability and technical issues

6.1 Reliability

Quantik is obligated to ensure a stable and continuous operation of the system.

All planned maintenance will not, to the extent possible, be performed in the period from 08.00 – 16.00h CET
on working days.

In extraordinary circumstances, for major upgrades, security fixed or system critical reasons may be necessary a sudden halt of operations. In such situations, Quantik is entitled to close down all or part of the system outside the stated maintenance period.

New releases can occur at any given time, as long as they are not disturbing the user experience and data accesibility.

6.2 Technical issues

Products (e.g. agreements) that failed due to our own technical issues, should be handle as soon as possible from Quantik side. We are committed to refunds of agreements that incur a cost upon sending (e.g. BankID signing).

7. Rights to data, data content & data storage

7.1 Data storage

When a transaction has been completed, the signed document will be stored. Data regarding the transaction will not be deleted for a period of 5 years.

7.2 Data content

You agree on this terms, to not upload any content that the general public may consider inappropriate, including or containing gambling promotion, pornography of any type, sexually explicit material, drug use, violence, terrorism, racial vilification, harassment or discrimination of any kind or spam or anything in breach of any law or regulation.

7.3 Reference

You agree that we may reference you as our customer, and that we may reasonably use, on a royalty-free basis, your trademark and/or logo for such purpose.

8. 3rd-party services

The Customer acknowledges that Quantik may use 3rd party services to deliver its own services. These services, include, among others:

  • Authorization and login providers
  • National electronic ID signature provides
  • Public registries
  • Open banking APIs
  • Mail providers
  • SMS providers
  • Payment gateways

Quantik does not take responsibility for the losses caused by the failure of those services. However, it takes responsibility for the costs incurred using them, including refunds in the case of technical failures on the 3rd party providers.

9. Liability

Neither of the Parties are liable for the other Party’s indirect or consequential loss, including operating loss, loss of revenue, loss of profits or loss of value.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Norway, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of State of Norway for the resolution of any disputes. The seat of arbitration shall be Bergen, Norway. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English.

11. Updating terms and conditions

Quantik may make changes to the Terms and/or our other operating rules, policies and/or procedures from time to time, in our sole and absolute discretion. Quantik will notify the Customer of any changes to these Terms. Any changes to our operating rules, policies and/or procedures shall be incorporated herein. It is your responsibility to review the Terms frequently and to remain informed of any changes to them.
